In the transport of trees, plants, and flowers, large quantities of water are traditionally used to keep products hydrated during transit. With our growth and transport liners—capable of absorbing 18 to 22 liters of water per square meter—combined with our hydrogel coating, which absorbs 50 to 70 times its own weight, water consumption can be reduced by up to 75%.
Using less water leads to lower transport weight, resulting in reduced fuel and energy consumption, fewer nutrient losses, and a decrease in carbon and nitrogen emissions. These benefits apply to both national and international transport of trees, plants, and flowers.
